Snow Conditions
Fantastic snow conditions were ravaged where we found some fresh goods in the Eagle Ridge area. The story from the weekend was wind with plenty of loose snow to transport. Big cornices and wind loads have developed now and much of the new snow is getting blown off western slopes in the Tollgate Area. When you find the spots where the snow has been deposited it is really good light snow being preserved by the intense cold. It was all of 5 F in the morning and stayed very cold throughout the day with wind driving form the north now.

Backcountry observations provided or vetted by trained avalanche professionals.
