Packet Pick-up
Packet pick-up is required the day before the event. The packet will include a timing chip and other important race information. Race-day packet pick-up is only available upon special request in advance of the race day.
Previewing the Course
The lower loop of the bike course (Glass Hill Road, Suicide, Rock Garden) is the best option for unimpeded pre-riding of the course and includes the most technical sections of the race. The pipeline area requires some gate and fence hopping and is not recommended for pre-riding or running except for Friday afternoon or evening. Morgan Lake and the main roads are open to the public and can be ridden, run, or swam at any time. See the race maps for location information. The course uses private and public land. Please be respectful to the owners' property and courteous to campers, fishermen, and boaters at the lake.
Accommodations
Overnight camping is allowed at Morgan Lake at no charge. Fires may be prohibited if conditions warrant fire regulations so check the local restrictions. Several hotels are available in La Grande. It takes less than 25 minutes to drive up to the lake from most hotels.
