Mountain Bike Trail Reroute Underway on XTERRA Course

The MTB course for XTERRA La Grande is getting quite a bit of action with the unseasonably warm spring. Trail work has begun, with some planned changes rolling out in the upcoming weeks. There is a reroute through the meadow to mitigate impact and aid drainage. When coming down to the meadow, riders should now turn right instead of left (clearly marked with logs). Follow the pink flagging to stay on drier ground on the edge of the trees below the meadow. Read more

New Electronic Timing System for XTERRA La Grande 2012

Thanks to a collaborative effort with Eastern Oregon University and the Mountie Cross Country Team, a new race timing system will be employed at XTERRA La Grande for 2012. Students of EOU's Physical Activity & Health major will contribute to administering the race and timing system. Read more
