A great tire for trail conditions in Northeast Oregon. This widely spaced linked tread tire takes charge in a broad range...
Excavator Work on Uppermost Section of New Super D Trail Nearing Completion
Thanks to Bart Barlow and the Blue Mountain Singletrack Trails Club, the heavy work on the very top is only a few hundred yards from completion of the excavator-work phase. It can now be ridden from the official start at the top, which offers a magnificent view of the valley. An initial map of the trail can be seen here.
The trail features several terrain features that will be a challenge in mountain bike handling. Super D has already notched a takedown and orbital stitches in one rider. Since it is a new trail, it is still very rough and soft and not officially all open to the public for riding. Some hand building attention will be needed in the upcoming months.
Unit Conversion Note: for a quick conversion of metric to statute enter the following examples in google "5.5 km in miles" or "800 m in ft" (for elevation) but substituting the provided data.
